14/05/2012 Chinese Taipei notifies one H5N2 outbreak
In a follow-up report sent to the OIE, Chinese Taipei notified that one outbreak of H5N2 has occurred in a farm in the YUN-LIN region. 3,850 birds have died and 11,611 have been destroyed.

09/05/2012 South Africa notifies one H5N2 outbreak
In a follow-up report sent to the OIE, South Africa notified that one outbreak of H5N2 has occurred in a farm. Stamping out on positive farm is ongoing.
