The home page allows you to carry out a simple, quick search of the documents in the database. If the results do not provide what you are looking for and you would like to have more advanced search functions, you can click on "Modify Search" and a new screen will appear. This screen retains the original search term but also enables you to:
In the advanced search you can also choose a date of publication, a document type or a language of publication.
Simple and advanced searches can also be carried out via the "Search" menu.
By clicking on the "Index" menu you can search complete lists of authors, keywords or source material.
The "File" menu provides results of searches made by the database manager on current topics.

The "Additional Resources" menu provides access to the search tool on the OIE Website and to its Online Bookshop.
Results
When the results list appears, simply click on a title to open the record: a new window will open, with the title, source, year, volume and number of publication (if relevant), pagination, language of publication and of summaries, abstracts if they exist, any notes, illustrations and comments, and keywords in French and English.
By clicking on the buttons facing the record you can go back to the list of results, add a record to your personal results (basket), print the result or send an email to a correspondent (you can email several records or even a complete list of search results).
If the PDF icon is displayed, access to the full text is free and immediately accessible by clicking on the icon.
All keywords, authors and sources are active links that you can click on to initiate a new search without going through the “Search” screen.
