Visa

Please see below the information concerning the nationalities that require or do not require a visa to enter Malaysia to participate in the conference.

1-Countries whose citizens NOT require a visa entering Malaysia.

2-Countries whose citizens require a visa to enter Malaysia and have a Consular representation of Malaysia in their country.

3-Countries whose citizens require a visa to enter Malaysia and that do not have a Consular representation of Malaysia in their country.

IMPORTANT

Visitors to Malaysia must be in possession of valid passports or travel documents with minimum validity of six months beyond the period of intended stay.

Vaccination requirements

A Yellow Fever vaccination certificate is required from all visitors coming from / through Yellow Fever endemic countries. This document will be valid if the vaccination is taken at least 10 days prior to the date of arrival to Malaysia and the validity of the vaccination is for a period of 10 years.

This requirement also applies to those who had visited the Yellow Fever endemic countries within one week prior to arrival in Malaysia. In accordance with Article 68 of the International Health Regulations of the World Health Organization, a person without a valid Yellow Fever vaccination certificate shall be quarantined upon arrival in Malaysia.

1- Countries whose citizens NOT require visa entering Malaysia to participate in the conference (period less than one month).

No visa is required for U.S.A. citizens except for employment.

No visa is required for a stay of less than one month for nationals of all ASEAN countries except Myanmar.

Nationals of countries indicated in this section are allowed to enter Malaysia without a visa for a visit not exceeding one month (for some countries the period must not exceed fourteen days as indicated in the table).

For nationals of Israel, visa is required and permission must be granted from Ministry Of Home Affairs.

Visas are issued by Malaysian Diplomatic Mission abroad. All visitors to Malaysia should inquire at nearest Malaysian Diplomatic Mission for the latest entry procedures and requirements.

The application for visa has to be made by the applicant himself at the Malaysian Embassy in his country of residence. The application form for visa is IM. 47– Pin. 1/97. Please refer to website: http://www.imi.gov.my/index.php/en section ‘Main services’

3- List of countries whose citizens require a visa to enter Malaysia and that do not have a consular representation of Malaysia in their country

Visas could be issued by British Consulates, which act for Malaysia in countries where no diplomatic representation is established. All visitors to Malaysia should inquire at nearest Malaysian Diplomatic Mission for the latest entry procedures and requirements.
