The opening session of the World Assembly of OIE Delegates is always a special event owing to the presence of important personalities from around the world.

In addition to the President and the Director General, addresses will be made by the Heads of States and the Ministers of several Members as well as the Directors of certain International Organisations.

The first three members of official delegations from Members and the first two members of official delegations from International Organisations that have signed an agreement with the OIE are exempt from paying the registration fees to participate in the General Session of the World Assembly of OIE Delegates.

Following reception of the invitation letters sent by the OIE to the OIE Delegates of Members and the Director General of International Organisations that have signed an agreement with the OIE, the official delegations must register on the secure web site.

Those members of delegations who are not exempt from paying the registration fees are invited to pay the fees (350€) while registering on the secure website (payment online or by bank transfer).
