Journalists are invited to participate in the Opening Session of the General Session on Sunday 22 May 2011 from 3 p.m., as well as the Technical Sessions that will be held on Monday 23 May from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and Tuesday 24 May 2011 from 11:00 a.m. to 11:45 p.m. at the Maison de la Chimie (28bis rue Saint-Dominique, 75007 Paris).

Journalists will not have direct access to the other sessions, but interviews with the participants could be arranged at any time during the duration of the General Session.

A Press Conference will be held in the “Maison de la Chimie” on Wednesday 25 May 2011 at 1 p.m.

It will focus in particular on the formal announcement by the OIE and FAO  of the global declaration of rinderpest freedom.
