Epidemiological comments	Investigation by the Disease Investigation Centre (Region VI) is ongoing. 26 samples (brain of dog) have been collected so far from three villages (Ungasan, Bakungsari and Kedonganan) and in two out of the three villages samples were positive. Dog population in Kuta Selatan is 10,637 and in Kuta Tengah it is 15,030. Vaccination was applied in four villages: Pecatu (28 dogs), Jimbaran (392 dogs), Tuban (203 dogs) and Kedonganan (111 dogs).
