There have been no new outbreaks of avian influenza in Denmark since the outbreak of low pathogenic avian influenza detected on 28 April 2008.
According to the requirements in article 2.7.12.3 of the OIE Terrestrial Animal Health Code, Denmark declares having regained its status as a notifiable avian influenza free country on 24 August 2008. |
