Epidemiological comments A 3 km protection zone has been established. The transport of bees in the protection zone is forbidden and other populations are examined in order to detect any possible contamination. Bees and beekeeper equipment may not leave the protection zone. It is also prohibited to beekeepers' associations that keep equipment at their members’ disposal, to lend it to the beekeepers within the protection zone.
