Epidemiological comments 1) First backyard flock (Thornton - start date 03/05/2017): The epidemiological investigation has started and disease control programmes applied. Primary C&D has been completed. 2) Second backyard flock (Thornton - start date 05/05/2017): Culling and disposal has been carried out. Primary C&D has been completed. 3km and 10km control zones have been put in place. Updates will be provided in weekly reports as further information becomes available. This is a continuation of the event that started in December 2016.
