Epidemiological comments The positive case (one racing pigeon) was detected in routine sampling in closed quarantine premises. The positive animal was traced back to another racing pigeon holding which is under restriction. Laboratory investigation is ongoing. No commercial farms are present in the 3-km radius of both establishments.
