Affected population Analytical suspicion within the framework of the planned surveillance led to preemptively kill the 3,000 ducks ready for gavage of the site in question on January 31st, 2018. The 4,000 ducks ready for gavage, situated in another site of the farm, but with a strong epidemiological link, were preemptively killed on February the 1st, 2018. The Reference national laboratory confirmed the presence of low pathogenic H5N3 virus on February the 1st, 2018.
