Epidemiological comments 1- A post-outbreak investigation to trace the source of infection is ongoing, to detect the probable spread and circulation of this subtype. 2- Official condemnation of all sick and dead wild birds in the surveillance zone. 3- Cleaning and disinfection of all places where the wild birds have been observed. 4- Active surveillance of backyard and commercial poultry is ongoing within the surveillance zone. No new outbreaks detected.
