Epidemiological comments Dairy cow tested positive to the milk ring test initially and was submitted to rose bengal plate test (RBPT) and complement fixation test (CFT) returning positive antibody results. While investigations were on-going four other animals aborted and Brucella species was isolated in culture from foetal material.
