Epidemiological comments During salivary excretion period, from 16 October to 10 November 2008, this dog was held in Saint-André-le-Gaz, Isère. The strain typing shows that it is a Lyssavirus, genotype 1, type Africa 1, from Morocco, very similar to strains circulating in the northern region (Al Hoceima, Taounate, Taza).
