Affected population A duck flock with 5,000 ducks; 4,000 ducks were sick. On 8 December 2017, three samples from sick ducks were collected by a district veterinarian and sent to the National Animal Health and Production Research Institute for confirmation. All susceptible birds in the infected premise have been culled.
