Simulation exercise: Avian influenza in Brunei Darussalam

Dr Yussof Mohiddin, Director of Agriculture, Ministry of Industry and Primary Resources, Brunei Darussalam, informed the OIE that a simulation exercise on avian influenza will take place in his country on 4 April 2006. The exercise will be carried out in a poultry farm and will involve various government agencies.

The purpose of the exercise is to ensure that all parties involved are in a state of preparedness and to measure the effectiveness of the action plans.
