Simulation exercise: Avian Influenza in Chile 4
22 and 23 March 2022
Dr Óscar Eduardo Videla Pérez, Delegate to the OIE and Head of the Livestock Protection Division of the Agriculture and Livestock Service of Chile, informed the OIE that a desktop simulation exercise on avian influenza will be conducted on 22 and 23 March 2022. The event will take place in the city of Rancagua, headquarters of the University of O’Higgins.
The objective of this activity, together with veterinarians in private practice, is to evaluate the Contingency Plan for this disease in order to update it according to the changes recently introduced by the OIE Terrestrial Animal Health Code.
