Simulation exercise: Avian influenza in Chile

Dr Claudio Ternicier González, Head of the Division of Animal Protection of the Department of Agriculture and Animal Production (SAG), Ministry of Agriculture, Chile, informed the OIE that a field simulation exercise on avian influenza is planned in the O’Higgins Region. The exercise will take place from 14 to 16 October 2008 in order to strengthen the technical expertise of professionals and technicians of the official veterinary services.
