Simulation exercise: Contagious zoonotic disease in Norway

Dr Kristina Landsverk, Chief Veterinary Officer, Director of Department for Controls, Norwegian Food Safety Authority (NFSA), Ministry of Agriculture and Food, Brumunddal, Norway, informed the OIE that a simulation exercise of an outbreak of a contagious zoonotic disease will take place in Norway, from 25 to 27 November 2015.

This exercise will put a special emphasis on communication to the public.

All the personnel of the NFSA, the Norwegian Veterinary Institute, the Norwegian Institute of Public Health, The Norwegian Veterinary Association, some counties and municipalities and the industry will be involved in this real time exercise.
