Simulation exercise: Foot and mouth disease and African swine fever in Czech Republic

Dr Zbyn?k Semerád, Director General of the State Veterinary Administration of the Czech Republic, Prague, informed the OIE that a simulation exercise on foot and mouth disease and African swine fever will take place in the Military Training Area Boletice, South Bohemian Region, in Czech Republic, from 19 to 20 June 2018.

This simulation exercise includes theoretical and practical training of personnel of Regional and Central Veterinary Administration in cooperation with the Veterinary Military Service of the Army of the Czech Republic. The aim of this exercise is to apply emergency measures in compliance with contingency plans for foot and mouth disease and African swine fever.
