Simulation exercise: Foot and mouth disease and avian influenza in Czech Republic

Dr Zbyn?k Semerád, Director General of the State Veterinary Administration of the Czech Republic, Ministry of Agriculture, Praha, informed the OIE that a simulation exercise on foot and mouth disease and avian influenza will take place in the Military Training Area Boletice, Southern Bohemian Region, Czech Republic, from 14 to 15 June 2016.

This simulation exercise will include theoretical and practical training of personnel of Regional and Central Veterinary Administration in cooperation with the Veterinary Military Service of the Army of the Czech Republic. The aim of this exercise is to apply emergency measures in compliance with contingency plans for foot and mouth disease and avian influenza.
