Simulation Exercise : Foot and mouth disease in Peru-4

Dr Oscar M. Domínguez Falcón, Director General for Animal Health, National Animal Health Service (SENASA), Ministry of Agriculture of Peru, informed the OIE that a field simulation exercise on foot and mouth disease will take place in the city of Lurín, Lima, from 11 to 15 July 2011.

The aim of this simulation exercise called “International simulation on the occurrence of foot and mouth disease “, which will be conducted with the participation of professionals from AGROCALIDAD* (Ecuador) and SENASAG** (Bolivia), is to strengthen the management capacities of professionals from private and public sectors.
