Simulation exercise: Foot and mouth disease in Switzerland
12 and 13 November 2003
Dr Hans Wyss, Director of the Federal Veterinary Office, Switzerland, informed us that a simulation exercise on a hypothetical foot and mouth disease outbreak takes place in his country on 12 and 13 November 2003.
It is an exercise in a number of Cantons aiming at evaluating the communication and cooperation, in response to an emergency disease incident.
