Outbreak in Ma-Gong which started on 15 May 2013
After the thorough cleaning and disinfection activities were completed and the farm was emptied for 21 days, sentinel chickens were introduced again on the farm in Peng-Hu County for 21 days. There was no other flock within a 3-km radius of this farm since 22 July 2013. The results of serological and virological tests reported on 1 August 2013 showed negative results for antibody and virus. According to the aforementioned information, the H5N2 LPAI outbreak reported on 3 June 2013 (follow-up report No. 7) is resolved. |
