Affected population Population of breeders: 15, 26, 29 and 51 weeks old. Commercial layers: one week old. Following reinforcement of the surveillance of avian influenza in Cameroon and in compliance with articles 3 and 5 of the Act 006 of 16 April 2001 on zoo-sanitary standards applying to livestock diseases legally considered as contagious and subjected to compulsory reporting, the owners of the poultry farm reported high mortality within the breeders rearing facilities.
