Epidemiological comments The whole population of animals susceptible to FMD was destroyed as part of FMD eradication measures applied in Vishmanovo village, Vladimir oblast. The animal population susceptible to FMD consisted of 814 cattle, 11 small ruminants and 54 swine. In response to the outbreak, emergency vaccination is being carried out within a zone around the outbreak area. 17,666 cattle and 1,332 small ruminants have been vaccinated.
