Epidemiological comments Heifers were reported to be aborting in different kraals in the same extension area. Samples were collected for testing and all the 6 animals returned positive results. Animals aborted in the space of one(1) week. Surveillance has not detected any more cases of abortion since the six cases in August 2018. Vaccination for brucellosis is not practised in the country.
