Affected population Pheasant chickens for game restocking were tested after clinical signs and high mortallity were reported in the flock, starting on the 20th of May. Salmonella Gallinarum biovar Pullorum was detected in samples from the herd on May 28th. All the susceptible animals at the infected holding were killed on June 5th and destroyed on June 6th.
