Affected population A total of 151 animals (dogs and cats) in a shelter. The affected dog was in contact with eleven dogs and three cats out of 151 susceptible animals. A total of 27 dogs and two cats were killed. A positive dog for rabies (case). Two dead dogs showed signs compatible with parvovirus and were negative for rabies.
