Epidemiological comments The case does not affect the official Aujeszky's disease free status of Finland, since it was found in a wild boar. The domestic population remains free of Aujeszky´s disease. All domestic pigs kept outdoors in Finland are protected from contacts with wild boars by double–fencing.
