Epidemiological comments Free-ranging farm with mallards intended for hunting in a natural environment. The virus was detected as part of the official planned surveillance without any clinical signs. The H5N3 virus was sequenced using the NGS (next-generation sequencing) method. No other outbreaks were detected.
