Epidemiological comments The Danish Veterinary and Food Administration has implemented the control measures in accordance with the European Union's Council Directive 2005/94/EC. A restricted zone of 1 km around the holding was established, which was lifted on 26 February 2020. No new outbreaks of avian influenza has been detected in Denmark since 29 January 2020. A self-declaration of the recovery of country freedom from Avian Influenza has been sent to the OIE on 4 May 2020.
