Epidemiological comments This is a previously infected zone (District) and this geographical part was not part of the vaccinated area (start of event 24/05 2018 with start of one outbreak 03/06/2018 in that district and close of the event 05/01/2019). Farmers were sensitized on animal movement restrictions, slaughter of animals and marketing of animals and animal products. The measures are being followed very well. No new cases recorded to-date (1-15th May). Booster vaccination was conducted on 29th April 2020 and 1328 cattle were vaccinated.
