Epidemiological comments On February 12, 2020, a complex of eradication measures was completed, including stamping-out and final disinfection. On March 4, 2020, the outbreak was resolved (removal of quarantine restrictions 21 days after the end of the stamping out and final disinfection). According to the results of the national program of active and passive surveillance, implemented in accordance with Articles 10.4.27 to 10.4.33 and Chapter 1.4 of the OIE Terrestrial Animal Health Code, no new outbreaks of avian influenza (HPAI or LPAI) have been registered in the last three months after the end of the stamping out and final disinfection. Therefore the territory of Ukraine considers itself free from avian influenza from May 12, 2020.
