Intensified surveillance in accordance with the OIE Terrestrial Animal Health Code was carried out during a three-month period after the H5N2 HPAIV was detected. Clinical and epidemiological investigations of surrounding poultry farms within a 3-km radius of the affected poultry farms had been completed and no new H5N2 HPAI case has been observed or detected. According to the aforementioned information, Chinese Taipei declares the H5N2 HPAI event has been resolved.
