Affected population This is a 6-year-old ewe of Barbarin breed which has been purchased, according to the farmer, since 2016 (origin unknown). It presented the following signs: change in behavior, pruritus, repetitive licking, teeth grinding and then paralysis. The clinical signs lasted 52 days before the death of the animal.
