Epidemiological comments |
A mixed turkey/ spent layer hen farm within the existing restricted area for HPAI was sampled following notification of clinical signs. A second commercial turkey farm near Bairnsdale was investigated due to recent movement of 7-800 turkeys from the first property.
Depopulation of both properties has been completed.
Surveillance is continuing both within and outside the restricted area. |
