The presence of the beetle has been shown to be associated with citrus and pineapple crops, therefore control measures have been re-evaluated and in particular it was deemed necessary to involve the agricultural sector of the ICA and alternative control methods that can be
implemented in affected hives are being researched to manage the beetles. |
