Affected population Se trata de un canino doméstico con signos respiratorios (picos febriles, anorexia y depresión), que fue atendido en una clínica veterinaria. Se colectaron hisopos nasales y orofaríngeos, los cuales fueron positivos a Sars-Cov-2, por medio de RT-PCR.

Epidemiological comments Derivado de la recomendación emitida por el SENASICA, exhortando nuevamente a los médicos veterinarios del País y a los propietarios de mascotas a seguir las serie de recomendaciones emitidas desde abril del 2020, con el objetivo de prevenir y detectar posibles casos de Covid-19 en animales expuestos a personas contagiadas, se logró identificar un canino, el cual había convivido con una persona positiva a la enfermedad.
