Near full genome of SARS-CoV-2 obtained for all 5 mink samples (98.75-99.87% genome coverage) by the National Centre for Foreign Animal Disease shows at least 4 unique single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNP) differences compared to other reported SARS-CoV-2 sequences in GISAID. The 5 mink sequences are most similar and share a set of common SNPs to lineage B.1.1.73 North American sequences. |
